Holy Spirit Cathedral

Holy Spirit Cathedral is located in the Upper Town section of Minsk. The Russian Orthodox church. The walls are lined with iconography, and the cathedral contains several valuable Christian icons. It dates to 1633 to 1642, when it was a Polish Bernadine monestary. The building was damaged by fire in 1741 and required renovation. It now is the central cathedral of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
