New Orleans benefit raises money for breast cancer awareness
I had the privilege to shoot photos for the annual Susan G. Komen Summer Cure Chefs Wine Dinner held July 11 at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans.
This 13th benefit for breast cancer awareness featured a five-course meal prepared by some of New Orleans’ best chefs, along with wine chosen to pair well with each course. Chefs participating included Chef Daniel Causgrove of The Grill Room, Chef Sue Zemanick of Gautreau’s & Ivy, Chef Ashley Christensen of Poole’s Downtown Diner, Chef Rebecca Wilcomb of Herbsaint and Chef Lisa Donovan of Husk Restaurant.
My role was to photograph participants as possible in a red-carpet style. Couples, individuals and groups posed in front of a Susan G. Komen background as the benefit participants mingled and bid on silent auction items before the meal began.
