Gift cards are a new addition to my gallery. One of the most-exciting features of the new gallery is the way in which you can interact with prints to ensure you are purchasing the right size. You can quickly and easily see graphic depictions of prints on sample walls, with measured furniture included to ensure the size you purchase isn’t too small or too large for your wall. You can even change the wall color of the sample room. Just click on an image, and scroll down and click “Wall Preview.” You can switch to different sample walls and resize the image right in the preview window. This is the perfect when viewing the gallery from your desktop.
If you switch to a mobile device, however, there also is exciting new augmented reality functionality that allows you to see prints on your own wall using a mobile device — just click on the image you enjoy and then choose “Live Preview AR.” The software will walk you through accessing your device’s camera, and the print image will be shown right on your wall. Be certain to stand 10 feet from the wall on which you intend to hang the print, and the result will be an extremely accurate rendition of the print size. You can resize the print until you are satisfied with the results.
